Auburn to Host Citizenship Ceremony, Info Session

AUBURN – Auburn University will host two events with a spotlight on achieving citizenship a free information session for anyone interested in gaining U.S. citizenship and a ceremony to swear in 200 new U.S. citizens.

The information session will take place Wednesday, June 27, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Auburn Student Center, room 2222/2223. The Student Center is located beside Haley Center at 255 Heisman Drive. The session will cover topics such as the naturalization test, the naturalization process, preparation for the naturalization interview and test, and how to avoid common mistakes in the naturalization process. Seating is limited, so attendees should plan to arrive early.

The citizenship ceremony will take place Thursday, June 28, at 11 a.m. in Langdon Hall, located next to Samford Hall. The public is invited to attend, though priority seating will be given to family members of the new citizens.
