College and Community Resource Fair to Highlight Local Services

Auburn University’s Office of International Programs and the Office of Student Affairs Outreach have partnered with the City of Auburn and the National Forum of Black Public Administrators to organize a College and Community Resource Fair Nov. 15 from 3:30-8:00 p.m. at the Harris Center.

The event is a unique opportunity for the community to discover the programs, services and activities available to a wide cross-section of residents, students, faculty and staff in the Auburn and Lee County area. The goal of the event is to develop improved access to culturally sensitive beneficial relationships, enhance educational outcomes and achieve a better quality of life for all Auburn residents.

Approximately 50 community-based organizations will exhibit at the fair, including organizations focused on health and wellness, women’s services, interfaith, international, veterans, employment and many others. Pop-up educational sessions will be held throughout the fair to disseminate targeted information about the organizations represented. Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones will present a kick-off address.
