AUBURN, Ala. – The 2021-22 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is currently suspended. However, planning for the 2021-22 academic year—the 75th anniversary of the program—is in full swing, and the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program will continue to accept applications for awards. Over 450 awards offer more than 800 grants annually. The application deadline remains Sept. 15, 2020.

Andrew Gillespie, assistant provost for international programs, is the Auburn University faculty Fulbright campus liaison. Faculty applying to the program may contact him for questions or assistance with the application process.

To explore the over 450 award opportunities, reference the Fulbright catalog of awards. In addition, the Office of International Programs has a resource page on its website where faculty can find Auburn Fulbright scholar contacts and details on specific awards and programs.
