Questions/Appointments/Terminations: Due to the complex nature of health insurance information staff are not be able to provide specific detailed information on any case without researching the specifics of each case.  Students and Scholars who have questions about the health insurance program should be aware of the following procedures: 

For specific questions, You may send an email to insurance@auburn.edu with your specific questions.  All emails should include your GID/Banner ID number and the names as well as IDs of anyone you may be asking question about AND as many details as possible.  You may also print out the insurance question MS Word FORM and print or email it to insurance@auburn.edu.

NurseLine - Insured Students have access to nurse advice and health information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Information on the Nurseline number is on your insurance card, in the policy brochure and at this link. - For enrolled members only.

For Appointments-
There will be no walk in visits for insurance questions.  No appointments will be scheduled without written/email details/information.  An appointment will be scheduled for you following review of your questions.  In 99% of the cases we can respond to you via email or phone.  Responses may take approximately 1-2 weeks for review. 

Graduating/Leaving Auburn/Termination of Coverage
If you are transferring out of AU, graduating, or leaving AU please provide a written dated signed letter explaining your circumstances, giving dates, admission to another school (transfer out record), etc.

Reception staff will review all inquiries to determine the completeness of your inquiry form or questions.  Please make sure you provide as much information as possible.
