If you are interested in attending the IEP, there are three ways to submit an application:
You can fill out the online application by clicking the link above. You may pay your $50 application fee online with a Master or VISA card at the link provided at the end of the online application process, or you may mail the fee. You can also choose to have your I-20 FedExed to you for an additional charge. (Payment for FedExing depends on your country.) Please read the directions for the online application and online payment carefully. Your I-20 will arrive within a few weeks of the application process. You may still need to mail in the Statement of Financial Responsibility.
2) Print-ready application form
3) Request an application form >
You may send an e-mail message to the Director of the IEP requesting an application form. It will be mailed to you as soon as possible but could take several days, depending on international mail services. If you do not have access to e-mail, you may contact us by postal mail, phone or fax.
HOUSING: We can assist students in finding housing. On-campus dormitory space is very hard to find. In part, it depends on the time of year. We also work with a private dormitory across the street from campus and with several clean, reasonably priced apartment complexes. There is a person on my staff who specializes in finding housing for students in the Intensive English Program.
DEADLINES: Applications involving I-20 forms should be received in our office 30 days before the start of a term.
RESTRICTIONS: The IEP is available to those who are at least 17 years of age and who have completed high school.
REFUNDS: Consistent with Auburn University policy for sessions less than a semester in length, no refund of tuition is allowed after the first 5 class days of an 8-week term. Students leaving the IEP during the first 5 days of a term will be refunded full tuition minus $44 per day that they attended. There is no discounted tuition for late arrival to the program.
