Exchange Visitor Program Policies and Request Forms

Requesting
DS-2019 (formerly IAP-66) documents - Departments must initiate a
DS-2019 request and such requests cannot come from the individual
participating in the program. Individuals requesting an DS-2019 will be
referred to the departments. Host/Sponsors will be required to provide
verification of financial support and the source of that support (names
of agencies, amounts, etc.). Furthermore sponsors will be required to
cooperate with the OIE to ensure that all participants are covered by
health and emergency assistance insurance, comply with all regulations
of the J program and participate in scheduled orientation programs.
