If someone handed you an open-ended plane ticket, where would you go?

Everywhere... why do I have to choose?

What’s your favorite part of working as director of Auburn Abroad?

I have the chance to “give back” to the community of students. I spent over 17 years in banking and corporate management, worked for top American, British, and German high tech companies as a product manager, marketing manager, director, and vice president. I was able to travel the world and work with international teams on product rollouts. I saw firsthand how important an international experience was when it came to communicating ideas and getting projects completed. I love the collaborative work we engage in with faculty as they plan programs abroad for students. I love working with students before, during, and after their program – to see how their outlook broadens upon return from their program. I think the Auburn Abroad staff is terrific – I love working with them – they are small but mighty. You will see them all over campus; our coordinators and interns work tirelessly to increase student awareness of all the exciting opportunities abroad.
