The Office of International Programs has a wide ranging impact on our campus, community and state. Our work encompasses services to students, future students, alumni, faculty and members of the East Alabama community.
- In the 2015-2016 academic year, Auburn international students and their dependents contributed $48.4 million to the Alabama economy and supported 661 jobs.*
- International students studying at U.S. colleges and universities contribute $32.8 billion and support 400,812 jobs to the U.S. economy. *
- For every seven international students enrolled, three U.S. jobs are created and supported by spending in higher education, accommodation, dining, retail, transportation, telecommunications and health insurance.*
