International perspectives, skills and mindsets are more important today than ever. The COVID-19 pandemic brought to light just how globally interconnected every aspect of society is, and students able to navigate these challenges and opportunities will be in higher demand in a changed work environment. While study abroad serves as one way for some students to develop these skills, Auburn University offers many resources to facilitate the internationalization of our courses, curricula and the student experience. The following ideas and examples provide a window into the creative world of faculty engagement and the resources found on Auburn’s campus to assist with internationalization.
