POSITION DESCRIPTION: The appointment will involve: (1) conducting research and development activities in adult education and contributingto the mission and activities of the College of Education, (2) teaching, recruiting, and advising undergraduate and graduate students, (3) carrying out extension and public service activities, (4) developing and securing contracts and grants, and (5) working cooperatively with the State Department of Education, related agencies, business, and industry groups.
SELECTION CRITERIA: I. Academic Preparation: ACADEMIC RANK: Assistant Professor SALARY: Dependent upon qualifications APPOINTMENT: Nine-month tenure-track position beginning fall quarter, September 16, 1998, or when position is filled.
