Create a Shared Work Space
- Collaboration is a process of shared creation
- A conversation is a shared workspace; a napkin to sketch upon; a flipchart to draw on; a computer network to share documents
- Traditionally, managers have not thought of creating shared spaces for people because they have assumed that knowledge comes not from people thinking and interacting together, but from accumulating information.
- Provide a shared space for people to build and test their inventions
