Purpose of Teacher Education Services
In an effort to assist students in their progress through the teacher
preparation program, they are given valuable individual guidance in the following
ways:
- Pre-College Counseling sessions conducted by personnel in Teacher Education
Services
- Assessment of outside course work by Evaluators
- Assignment of advisor in program area
- Assistance with admission, retention and completion requirements by
Advisors/Department Heads and Teacher Education Services Personnel
- Arrangement of Clinical Experience sites
- Late Registration and Schedule Adjustment
- Referral to other services available on campus
- Clearance for Internship
- Clearance for Graduation
- Assistance with Certification
- Placement Services
