Georgia Driver's License Curriculum
by Laura Mason

Abstract

A curriculum was designed to assist vocational rehabilitation clients/consumers, residing in Georgia, to obtain their drivers’ license instructional permit. The curriculum consists of taking information from the Georgia drivers’ manual and using that information to help vocational rehabilitation clients/consumers study about rules that pertain to driving on the roadways. Of the curriculum, information taken from the Georgia drivers’ manual is set in the form of flash cards, pre-tests and post-tests in which the pre-tests and post-tests are structured in similar fashion as the actual Georgia drivers’ license instructional permit (written) exam. Upon taking and passing the written exams, clients\consumers can take a drivers’ course paid for by Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Services, with the hopes of getting their drivers’ license.
