Welcome Class of 2001!
Twenty-eight students from around Region IV entered the Academic Certificate Program in Community Employment Services fall semester. This new class of employment specialists will earn their certificates in August 2001.

Congratulations, Ken!
Ken Hergenrather is serving as a visiting scientist at Coventry University in England, October 1 through December 28, 2000. He is working in two research centers. In the Psychosocial Research Centre, he is involved in the statistical analyses of national research projects and he guest lectures. In the Centre for Research and Policy in Disability, he is assisting with the development and implementation of two projects: (1) a national peer mentoring/support program addressing career development for undergraduate students with disabilities, and (2) utilizing the Internet for the delivery of academic courses. 

Dawn Browning joins the Academic Certificate Team!
Dawn Browning, Technology Associate in the Department of Rehabilitation and Special Education, will be working closely with the Academic Certificate Program during the coming months. Dawn will use her experience as webmaster to provide current students with improved access to Auburn's technological resources. An important part of her role will be to coordinate former students' activities on-line through newsletters and chat rooms, etc. Dawn will be in contact with both the classes of 2000 and 2001 soon to ask for input.
