Kelly Linton

I’m Kelly Linton from Waycross, Georgia. I have worked for the Division of Rehabilitation Services for 22 years and as a Work Preparation Technician for the last four years.  I enjoy my job and have a great team of coworkers that help make work fun.

I have been married for 21 years and have two boys, Jim and Brad. Jim is a freshman at Waycross College and Brad is in the 10th grade and plays football and baseball. We have Quarter horses and raise Laborador Retrievers. My husband and I are very active in the Athletic Boosters Club. I am on the Board of Directors and also am Co-Manager of the Booster’s Club Gator Gear Store. We sell merchandise such as t-shirts, hats, car flags, jewelry, etc. related to our high school’s mascot, Ware County Gators. This past year our “little” store had income of over $32,000!

Also, I am currently involved in a local Chamber of Commerce program called Leadership Waycross, a six month program that is “an interactive, experiential, hands-on education program.”  The goal of Leadership Waycross is to identify, recognize and develop leaders in the Waycross-Ware County area. In my church I am on the Youth Council, sing in the choir (which I love to do), and am Sunday School Secretary.
