I was born in Johnson City, TN and graduated from East Tennessee State University.  I am married to Paula Henson and she works at the Reese Library at Augusta State University.  I enjoy playing golf and watching college football.  I am the Chairman for the Mayor’s Masters Reception which is a city wide reception that is open to the public on Monday during Masters Week.  I also am the Co-Chairman for the Arts in Heart of Augusta event.  I also serve as Publicity Chairman for the group Safe Communities Coalition.  I am a member of the Gallery Guard at number 10 at the Augusta National during Masters Week.

I am an Account Representative with the Division of Rehabilitation Services in Augusta, GA and have been in that position going on 3 years. Before that I worked in the hotel business as a Director of Catering.
