The Learning Resources Center has five classrooms which are available to College of Education Faculty for classroom use. Classrooms may be reserved by contacting Harriette Huggins at the Learning Resources Center. The Center's function is greatly enhanced by state-of-the-art technology. Interactive presentations can be designed and demonstrated in the Center. Students and teachers can learn to make a classroom computer function as a teaching tool and how appropriate lessons can be designed for special students. The computer labs are divided by a retractable wall as well as by MAC and PC Platform. All computers in both labs are networked to a Novell File Server with laser printing capabilities. All computers are connected to the university network for full Internet access. Equipment includes:
- CD-ROM and Iomega Zip drives - included with every computer in each lab.
- Laser disc players - (4) capable of playing Level I and II interactive laser discs.
- Digital cameras - allows instant capture of medium or low resolution images for download to a PC or Macintosh computer.
- Instructors Station - Overhead projectors allow for projection of transparencies and computer work.

- Instructor Station is equipped with a Macintosh G3, LCD Panel with High Lumen Overhead Projector

- Gateway2000 E-3110 Pentium II class machines (19)
- Instructors Station is equipped with an overhead projector and a Sharp IBM projection panel.
Portable computer equipment is available for use in LRC Classrooms only and may be reserved by contacting Bill Couch at the Learning Resources Center. Laptop computers may be reserved by College of Education Faculty for use with in or outside of the Learning Resources Center.
