What elements of this course did you Like Least
- Reflections due on Friday. Sat or Sunday would help me.
- Enrolled in class as it was part of the Sports Management curriculum but this far nothing on that topic.
- Blackboard reflections due on Friday
- I have a hard time seeing the "big picture" and relating to the discussion.
- The time. I prefer to work earlier in the day
- The time the course is offered, why not during the day?
- Sometimes people ask a question that has nothing to do with the topic and is just so that they would get credit.
- Too long
- The open format works however not everyone speaks their mind for obvious reasons.
- I am nervous that my grade will be hurt because I don't always have the courage or experience to speak up.
- How long the class is, would like to stop by 7:00 and meet with team.
- Make class shorter and meet with group after class, we end up staying until 8:45 to work on the case.
- Being required to share in order to receive grade points.
- The tendency of the class to drag on, stick to the topics and wrap up discussions quickly and shorten the class.
- I would like more information in class so that I can relate to Birnbaum's book
- I feel that what I post online never makes it to the classroom.
- Let us turn in our discussions on Saturday night.
What Suggestions do you have for its improvement?
- Let it be known that the course is not recommended for younger students (under 30 years old)
- Broader bibliography
- More discussion
- Sit people in a circle
- Less random talk more talk about specific topic
- Sometimes breaking up in small groups to discuss themes and topics and then bringing to the larger group will allow for more interaction.
- I enjoy having Powerpoints to point our the main ideas that the professional with experience thinks are important.
- Give more details on assignments, more agenda~like teaching, stay on schedule so we can get out -been a long day already
- More detail on the case study
- A little more explanation on the case study
- More guidance on the case study, shorter evening
- Ask students to bring in articles relating them to the class topic
- The obligatory "Any questions" puts pressure on us to ask something just to end the silence. Just encourage open discussion.
- Let us turn in our reflections on Saturday night.
