About Us

The Problem-Centered Teaching & Learning Project (PCTL) is housed in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching at Auburn University. PCTL is funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology initiative and matching funds from Auburn University and our K-12 school partners.

We hope to use the PCTL project to encourage problem-centered teaching and learning by using the power of technology to provide preservice and in-service teachers with models, resources, and tools that facilitate the construction of a problem-centered practice. Our on-line community provides a forum for groups and individuals to work together to meet the challenges of thoughtful student inquiry.
