The College of Education actively participates in the Golden Eagle reunion sponsored by
the Auburn Alumni Association. The Golden Eagle reunion recognizes those alumni who
graduated from Auburn 50 years ago and before.
This year 26 of the College's Golden Eagles and spouses joined Dean Richard Kunkel at
the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center for lunch.
Pictured is Mr. Frank Dubose, a 1929 graduate of the College of Education and Melanie
Missildine, a senior secondary math and science major and the president of the College's Student
Council. Mr. Dubose, a former Auburn basketball player, was in Auburn celebrating his 70th
class reunion with his son, Frank, Jr. a 1962 graduate of the College of Liberal Arts.
- Homecoming
A Homecoming reception will be held on November 6, 1999 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00
a.m. in the Learning Resource Center in Haley Center 3402. All alumni, faculty, staff, students
and friends of the College are invited to attend as we honor the classes of 1955, 1959, 1965,1969,
