The Auburn Group in Ecology is a loosely organized group of basic and applied scientists with interests in ecological phenomena and research. Members come from seven departments in three Schools and Colleges of the University. The Group functions to facilitate interactions among faculty of common interests, to coordinate the multidisciplinary graduate minor in ecology, and to stimulate interest in and awareness of ecological ideas. The Group is of recent origin, but is already beginning to be a significant component of the academic programs of the University. Membership is open to all Auburn faculty with a desire to participate.
