English Center

Phone: 844-5749

The English Center offers tutoring services in writing and reading for students. The Center was established to provide one-to-one instruction for students enrolled in composition and Great Books courses.

More specifically, the consultants in the English Center can help you get started writing by teaching you how to brainstorm for ideas. Consultants can help you learn to organize those ideas and to develop plans for your papers. Once you have a draft, they can answer your questions about how to revise your papers and even read drafts to see if they make sense. Questions about sentence structure and punctuation are always appropriate.
