Title: Nonautonomous and random dynamical systems in the applied sciences -- modeling, analysis and computation"

Abstract:   My research interests lie generally in modeling, analysis and computation of nonautonomous and stochastic differential equations, with applications to biological sciences,  chemical engineering,  and material sciences.    In this talk I will introduce my research during the past 5 years.   In particular, I will review my most recent work on (i) analysis and computation of biological systems in  fluctuating environments; (ii) model reduction methods for complex stochastic chemical reaction networks with stiffness;  and (iii) asymptotic analysis of stochastic lattice dynamical systems.
