The Department of Biological Sciences at Auburn University invites applications for a non- tenure-track faculty position in biological sciences beginning August 16, 2015. The position is a nine-month appointment, with the potential for summer teaching, and is renewable yearly. The successful candidate should be broadly trained in biology and will be expected to teach courses in introductory biology for majors, which may include courses in honors biology.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a doctorate in a related field and demonstrable teaching experience, and must possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Desired qualifications include a strong record of exemplary teaching at the undergraduate level,. The candidate selected for the position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time appointment is to begin, and continue working legally for the proposed term of appointment.
