The Department of Biological Sciences at Auburn University invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty position in biological sciences beginning August 16, 2014. The position is a nine month appointment, with the potential for summer teaching, and is renewable yearly.  The successful candidate should be broadly trained in Microbiology and will be expected to teach courses in Microbiology and Immunology, including laboratories.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in Microbiology or a related discipline and demonstrable teaching experience.  Desired qualifications include a strong record of exemplary teaching at the undergraduate level and good interpersonal skills.  Excellent communication skills are required.
