and Technology

The Educational Psychology program prepares individuals for teaching and/or research careers in colleges and universities, school systems, state and federal agencies, business and industry, private research and development organizations; as well as other educational and developmental settings. As a doctoral program that prepares students to combine research and practical application to understand significant issues in education and psychology, it includes research areas such as development, learning, individual learner differences, intelligence, learning and study strategies, motivation, measurement, evaluation, assessment, and statistics.

Accreditation and Approvals

Auburn University holds regional accreditation through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
