Dr. Cindy Reed Elected to the Executive Committee of UCEA

Dr. Cindy Reed, professor and Director of the Truman Pierce Institute, was elected to a three year term on the Executive Committee of the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA) at the Annual Conference in November 2008. The University Council for Educational Administration, the top professional organization for the educational leadership field, is an international consortium of major research universities with doctoral programs in educational leadership and policy. The dual mission of UCEA is to improve the preparation of educational leaders and promote the development of professional knowledge in school improvement and administration. The nine members Executive Committee is responsible for formulating policies and planning plenary sessions for the organization in conjunction with the Executive Director for the organization.
