The LRC produces many types of media in support of College of Education research, outreach, and instruction. In addition to providing equipment, LRC staff will assist you with production needs.
Ellison® letter & shape die cuts
Patrons provide their own paper to make letters for bulletin boards or posters and a variety of shapes for nametags, teaching materials, or decorations. There is no charge for using the dies.
The LRC offers a selection of audiovisual and instructional equipment for faculty and students in the College of Education. The LRC also provides equipment services to faculty in other colleges teaching in classrooms in the Haley Center.
LRC charges $1.00 per page to send your fax to any domestic location.
Photographic services, designs and layouts of publications, brochures, newsletters, mailings, flyers, displays, posters, banners, and web graphics are just a few examples of what this service provides to faculty and staff of the College of Education.
Laminating on the 25 inch wide laminating machine is $0.50 per linear foot.
Media Production & Duplication
LRC staff can assist patrons creating digital presentations, including audio and video, LRC staff can duplicate video, DVD, and audiotapes. Copyrighted material cannot be duplicated without written consent
The LRC offers orientation sessions that introduce students and faculty to available resources, search strategies, services.
Self-service copiers provided by CopyCat are available in the LRC. TigerCard or Campus Cash cards are needed to operate the copiers.
College of Education faculty may place articles, books, and other materials on reserve to provide access to material that may not be part of the LRC collection. Circulation time is determined by the faculty member placing material on reserve.
Video Editing support
LRC staff can assist patrons creating digital movies in several formats for use in digital portfolios or for presentations in class or at conferences.
An array of documents can be prepared by the word processing staff including books, manuscripts, grants, and handbooks, vitae, flyers, letters, envelopes, labels, and name tags. Text and graphics scanning disk is also available.
