Parents and Family

Parents and family members are an integral part of the Auburn University College of Education. They have guided and nurtured their students prior to enrollment at the College. Their concerns continue through the college years as their students develop intellectually and professionally. They participate actively with the College and University through campus events and tuition payments.

Parents are in partnership with the College to provide the best education possible for their students. Parental support is essential to the College for the fulfillment of its mission to prepare students for their careers and life. Parents, likewise, need to be informed about the College, its mission and its accomplishments.

All parents of current College of Education students are encouraged to become involved in their students' college and campus life. Your student will benefit from your active interest in their school work and social life.

Ways Parents Can Get Involved

Ask your student to take you on a tour of the College of Education and the Auburn University campus.

Take a day off work and join your student in his or her classes. You'll probably learn something new! (Get your student to check with his/ her professor first!)
