SERC's Outreach

As full participants in the land grant mission of Auburn University the department's outreach scholarship extends our many and varied resources to meet the needs of local, state, national and international communities, schools, agencies and organizations. Current outreach scholarship includes assistance related to children's sleep and school achievement, families of those deployed by the military, HIV/AIDS services, multicultural competence, ethics and professionalism, career development, counseling supervision, positive behavior support in the schools, and students at risk.

New in October:  2012 Community Transition Expo: Preparing for Tomorrow - Today!

	School Counseling Mentorship Program Counselors from local schools mentor AU students.			Outreach: South Korea Global Studies and Student Exchange initiatives link Auburn University with South Korean culture and scholarship.
	AU Family University Parenting Program University Preparatory Enrichment, Advanced University Experience, and Family University.			AU Summer English School Providing lessons in English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills for non-English speaking international students.
