Advisory Councils

The Administrative Council is the primary body that approves college-level policies and changes related to operations including those pertaining to teacher education.

The purpose of the Dean's University Council on the Education Profession is to assure effective communication between and among faculty who work in collaboration with the College in preparing education professionals.

The purpose of the Partnership Council on the Education Profession is to assure that the professional community is kept informed of critical issues and have formal opportunities to provide input and engage in discussions about program improvement.

The Professional Development System (PDS) Council is a collaboration between Auburn City Schools and the College of Education.

The College of Education National Advisory Council is a network of alumni and friends who believe in enhancing and promoting the mission of the College.

The Student Council is a service organization open to all education majors and serves as an advisory council. The College of Education recognizes the value of student organizations.

The Student Affairs Council was established to encourage involvement and to ensure that students and advisors of student organizations receive support and recognition for their efforts.
