PHYSIOLOGY LAB SAFETY

 
 
  1. No Smoking.
  2. No eating or drinking.
  3. Shoes or sandals must be worn at all times.
  4. All ether must be stored and dispensed in the hood.
  5. Fire extinguishers are located just inside outside door and just inside prep-room door.
  6. Emergency shower is located along front wall. 
  7. A First Aid Kit is located on shelf above ice machine.
  8. Drugs, reagents, etc, are not to be removed from the front table.
  9. All used needles, broken glass, or any sharp object are to be deposited in sharps containers.
  10. All animal matter must be placed in the morgue.
  11. Hands should be thoroughly washed before leaving laboratory.
  12. All accidents of any kind (burns, bites, cuts) should be reported immediately to the instructor.
