LABORATORY REPORT - Exercise: 13 & 14

Use your data to support the specific physiolgical principles demonstrated in your part of the
     experiment.

Section A:

Record:   One record of normal at paper speeds of 1 cm/sec and 5 cm/sec., followed by
                     vagal stimulation at 5 cm/sec.

     Discussion

Section B:

Records:    1.    Ventricular systole and diastole.
                       2.    Starling's Law

     Discussion

Section C:

Records:     1.    Absolute and relative refractory periods.
Cut out four sequential stimulated curves, showing the point of stimulation
along the time and event line. Rearrange these curves in order of stimulation
to make one composite record. From this composite prepare and attach an
unstimulated myogram showing the approximate absolute and relative
refractory periods based on the points of stimulation of the four ventricular myograms.

                        2.    Attempt of ventricular tetanization

     Discussion

Section D:

     Record:    The effect of temperature

Graphs:    1.    Prepare and fully label a graph of temperature versus rate.

                      2.   Prepare and fully label a graph of temperature versus amplitude expressed in
                            centimeters of pen deflection.

     Discussion
